I've recently found a lot of joy in bettering my film photography. There are some purists who say film photographs shouldn't be edited, but I think color correcting, and cleaning up the pics is exciting in and of itself!

I just bought myself a new camera that I've been saving up for, a Canon EOS-1N. It's one of the last 35mm film cameras that Canon released, circa 1998. the best part is, it's compatible with my cinema lenses that I've been filming stuff on for years. My pics are about to get a lot better.

Anyway, it's snowing and Jenna is eating pirate's booty behind me, so gotta go!

I've been struggling to pull in enough editing work. It feels like all of the opportunities that present themselves are profoundly un-lucrative, profoundly exhausting, and profoundly un-profound. I'd love a few high-paying commercial gigs. I just want to pay my rent, man.

Jenna came to Colorado on Christmas Day! We just got back from Great Sand Doom National Park. Great adventure. Cold but cool.
